In The Media

I am an enthusiastic supporter of science communication and engagement with public media.

I believe that government decision-making can sometimes be influenced from the bottom-up, and scientists have a key role to play in increasing the scientific literacy of the general public so that they are more informed and able to appreciate the important role that science plays in society.

To this end, I have participated in a suite of science-society documentaries for cinemas and television, given many interviews for television news and current affairs programs, written numerous articles for print and digital media, and given interviews for radio and print/digital media outlets and science magazines.
